Earlier, at around 1:20 p.m. the same day, Tuan Viet Commune Police received a report from residents about the discovery of a purple newborn baby abandoned at the Cam Dong village dike watchtower. The newborn baby was a boy, with the umbilical cord still attached, weighing about 3.8 kg.

Afterwards, Tuan Viet Commune Police quickly used a specialized vehicle to take the child to the commune health station to warm him up and provide first aid to help stabilize his health.

Initial examination showed that the abandoned newborn baby boy was not deformed or deformed, was wrapped in two towels and had no other clothes or belongings.

Currently, the abandoned newborn baby boy is being cared for by staff at the Tuan Viet Commune Health Station. The People's Committee of this commune has also issued a notice to find relatives for the baby. If no relatives come to claim the baby within the deadline, the authorities will carry out the procedures for adoption according to regulations.
