Honoring the contributions of the entrepreneurial team

On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Vietnamese Entrepreneurs' Day (October 13, 2004 - October 13, 2024), on the afternoon of October 3, the Provincial Business Bloc Party Committee held a meeting and honored typical enterprises and entrepreneurs in 2024.

Attending the event were comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; members of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee: Nguyen Nam Dinh, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Le Hong Vinh - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Bui Thanh An - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Nghe An currently has nearly 14,000 operating enterprises, employing about 310,000 workers, ranking 9th out of 63 provinces and cities.

Comrade Phan Thi Hoan - Secretary of the Provincial Business Party Committee spoke at the program.

Over the years, businesses and entrepreneurs of the Party Committee of the Bloc have made many contributions to the socio -economic development process. Annually, the average growth rate is 8.3%; State budget contribution reaches 15 - 20% of the total domestic revenue of the province.

Enterprises and businessmen at the Provincial Business Bloc Party Committee donated nearly 4.6 billion VND to share with people in the Northern provinces and cities to overcome the consequences of storm No. 3.

Speaking at the ceremony, Comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee affirmed: Although still facing many difficulties and challenges, the province's socio-economic situation continues to recover positively. The economic growth rate ranked 26th compared to other provinces in the country; ranked 3rd in the North Central region, in the top 10 localities attracting the largest FDI investment in the country. That achievement has a great contribution from the business community and entrepreneurs in the province, including businesses and entrepreneurs belonging to the Party Committee of the Bloc.

Comrade Hoang Nghia Hieu hopes that the business community and entrepreneurs will continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, proactively adapt to changes in the new situation; pay attention to building brands, culture and improving business ethics; continue to affirm the role, position, determination to overcome difficulties with the spirit of "Heart - Talent - Intelligence - Trust" to promote production and business development, contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the Party Congresses at all levels, Resolution No. 39 of the Politburo .
