VHO - The "Quintessence of Vietnam" Award 2025 honors creations imbued with national identity, contributing to building the Vietnamese cultural and artistic ecosystem in the digital age.

On the afternoon of October 4, in Ho Chi Minh City, Dai Doan Ket Newspaper in collaboration with ZOA Media and Creation Company Limited launched and announced the "Quintessence of Vietnam" Award 2025.

“Quintessence of Vietnam” is a national award, held annually to recognize, honor and spread the unique cultural and artistic values ​​of the Vietnamese people. Starting from 2025, the award will expand nationwide, aiming to build a sustainable foundation for the Vietnamese cultural and artistic ecosystem.

The award applies a modern voting mechanism combining professional assessment by the Jury and online public participation, ensuring democracy, transparency and suitability for the digital age.

This is also an effort to establish an artistic standard system with Vietnamese identity, while honoring individuals, works and creations that are both rich in traditional depth and modern.

According to the Organizing Committee, the nominees for the award include works, research works, products, and projects of artists, intellectuals, and individuals of Vietnamese nationality or Vietnamese origin.

The award is held annually, with an implementation roadmap consisting of 5 main stages and a system of accompanying communication activities on multiple platforms. Specifically, after the official announcement and launch on October 4; from October 15 to November 15, nominations will be accepted;

On December 12, the official nomination list will be announced; from December 12, 2025 to January 1, 2026, the online voting portal will be opened for the audience and judging; in January 2026, the Gala will be held to award and honor outstanding individuals, groups, and works of the year.

The award structure consists of three main categories. Category A – Music Essence includes the following awards : Song of the Year, Album of the Year, Musician of the Year , Music Producer of the Year, Singer of the Year, MV of the Year and Performance of the Year.

Category B – Multi -field Arts Excellence includes the following awards: Literature Excellence, Fine Arts Excellence, Cinema Excellence, Theater Excellence, Cultural and Artistic Heritage Preservation, Creativity Excellence and Spreading Vietnamese Culture.

Category C – Special Award: The Essence of Dedication is a noble title for individuals who have made long-term, lasting contributions and have had a profound influence on the development of Vietnamese culture and arts.

The award period applies to products and projects launched between November 15, 2024 and November 15, 2025. The categories are selected based on four groups of criteria: artistic value, Vietnamese cultural identity, creativity and innovation, and social impact.

The Jury is the highest professional body responsible for evaluating and selecting individuals, groups and works worthy of honor.

The Council members include many prestigious faces in the cultural and artistic world such as Poet Hong Thanh Quang, People's Artist Vuong Duy Bien, People's Artist Tran Ly Ly, Painter Vi Kien Thanh, PhD - Journalist Nguyen Dang Khang (Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Dai Doan Ket Newspaper), Meritorious Artist - Director Bui Tuan Dung, Film Critic Le Hong Lam, Writer Nguyen Quynh Trang, Musician Nguyen Hai Phong and Musician Huy Tuan.

In addition, the Journalists Council, with the participation of reporters and editors experienced in the fields of culture, arts and entertainment, will evaluate the categories from the perspective of social influence and recognition from the media, contributing to ensuring the objectivity and prestige of the award.

The judging is conducted according to the following score ratio: Music category includes 40% from the Jury, 30% from the Journalists and 30% from the audience; Multidisciplinary Arts category includes 60% from the Jury and 40% from the Journalists; the special category of Dedication is decided by 100% of the Jury.

This year's award is accompanied by many ambassadors who are prestigious faces in different fields, including: Dr. Le Kien Thanh, Major General - Associate Professor, Dr., Senior Lieutenant Nguyen Hong Son, Lieutenant Colonel - Screenwriter Vu Liem, Photographer Gian Thanh Son;

Businesswoman Duong Thu Huong, Journalist Khong Loan, Poet Nguyen Phong Viet, Actress Midu, Miss Phuong Linh, Miss Ha Truc Linh, Actor Quoc Anh, Writer Cao Viet Quynh, and other prominent cultural, artistic and business figures.

Audience voting is conducted on the official TikTok platform of the Tinh Hoa Viet Awards program and the website tinhhoavietawards.vn. At the same time, the Jury and the Journalists Council will organize live scoring at professional meetings.

With a national scale, modern approach and multi-dimensional evaluation system, the 2025 “Quintessence of Vietnam” Award is not only a national cultural and artistic event, but also a forum to honor Vietnamese values ​​in the new era, a place connecting artists, intellectuals and the public to join hands to preserve and promote the quintessence of national culture.
