The teachers of the school all have about 40 years of experience in the field of music training. In addition to teaching, the teachers of the school have the duty to go to other training facilities to look for musical talents.

Kieng Sang Kindergarten has a close relationship with the Vietnam - Korea Friendship Kindergarten, a meaningful gift that the North Korean Government gave to the Vietnamese people (March 8, 1978). In 2010, the Vietnam - Korea Friendship Kindergarten sent 100 winter coats to Kieng Sang Kindergarten. In June 2011, during the visit to North Korea of the Vietnam - Korea Friendship Association, the Vietnam - Korea Friendship Kindergarten and Kieng Sang Kindergarten signed a cooperation agreement and established a class named after President Ho Chi Minh.

The art program aims to honor the achievements of the Korean Workers' Party in all aspects over the past 80 years. This is also an opportunity for North Koreans to praise the country, its founders and current leaders through special art performances, gymnastics and dance. Tens of thousands of people in the stands coordinate rhythmically holding up color boards to create a giant mosaic, serving as a backdrop for athletes and dancers to perform. The art performances are interspersed with special fireworks displays.

The May 1st Stadium in Pyongyang, the capital of North Korea, has a capacity of 150,000 and is the venue for many grand events.
