Welcoming General Secretary To Lam at the parking lot, the leaders of Kieng Sang Kindergarten invited the General Secretary and the Vietnamese high-ranking delegation to visit the classrooms and classrooms named after President Ho Chi Minh , then watch an art performance by students of Kieng Sang Kindergarten.
Here, the students presented special performances praising the Vietnam - Korea friendship, traditional folk songs praising the love of homeland and country. In particular, the children sang the song "Who loves Uncle Ho Chi Minh more than children" and performed a unique piano solo.

On this occasion, General Secretary To Lam presented gifts to teachers and students of Kieng Sang Kindergarten.
Kieng Sang Kindergarten was established in 1954. Initially, the school was just a regular educational facility, but since the end of 1970, it has been transformed into a music training facility for gifted children. The teachers of the school all have about 40 years of experience in the field of music training. In addition to teaching, the teachers of the school have the duty to go to other training facilities to look for musical talents.

The school has received attention from North Korea and has been visited many times by General Secretary and State President of North Korea Kim Jong Un. Many of the school's students have achieved high results in international competitions.
Kieng Sang Kindergarten has a close relationship with the Vietnam - Korea Friendship Kindergarten, a meaningful gift that the North Korean Government gave to the Vietnamese people (March 8, 1978). In 2010, the Vietnam - Korea Friendship Kindergarten sent 100 winter coats to Kieng Sang Kindergarten. In June 2011, during the visit to North Korea of the Vietnam - Korea Friendship Association, the Vietnam - Korea Friendship Kindergarten and Kieng Sang Kindergarten signed a cooperation agreement and established a class named after President Ho Chi Minh.

Most recently, within the framework of the visit and working session in Vietnam, the Delegation of the Korea - Vietnam Friendship Association (March 27, 2019) coordinated with the Vietnam - Korea Friendship Kindergarten to organize a Friendship Exchange Program between the two sides.
*On the same evening, at the May 1 Stadium (capital Pyongyang), General Secretary To Lam and the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation attended the art performance program on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Workers' Party of Korea.
The art program aims to honor the achievements of the Korean Workers' Party in all aspects over the past 80 years. This is also an opportunity for North Koreans to praise the country, its founders and current leaders through special art performances, gymnastics and dance. Tens of thousands of people in the stands coordinate rhythmically holding up color boards to create a giant mosaic, serving as a backdrop for athletes and dancers to perform. The art performances are interspersed with special fireworks displays.
The May 1st Stadium in Pyongyang, the capital of North Korea, has a capacity of 150,000 and is the venue for many grand events.

Previously, General Secretary To Lam and the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation attended a state reception hosted by General Secretary and State President of North Korea Kim Jong Un.
