The defending champion TP HCM 1 affirmed its strength when defeating TP HCM 2 3-0, thereby temporarily retaking the top spot on the afternoon of September 25.
After the unfortunate draw against Hanoi in the final round of the first leg, coach Kim Chi and her team entered the city derby determined to regain their winning streak. Although they could not repeat the 7-0 "rain of goals" in the first leg, TP HCM 1 still completely dominated and showed their mettle as the number one candidate for the championship.
