Ho Chi Minh City: Full announcement of questions and answers for the entrance exam to grade 6 at Tran Dai Nghia School

(NLDO) - In the 2025-2026 school year, Tran Dai Nghia Secondary and High School will enroll 350 students in grade 6, with a competition ratio of 1/14.

On the evening of June 19, the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City officially announced the questions, answers, and marking instructions for the entrance exam for grade 6 at Tran Dai Nghia Secondary and High School (District 1), Ho Chi Minh City.

Previously, on the morning of June 16, Ho Chi Minh City had 4,851 candidates participating in the entrance exam for grade 6 at Tran Dai Nghia Secondary and High School (District 1, Ho Chi Minh City), winning a place in grade 6 at this prestigious school.

In the 2025-2026 school year, Tran Dai Nghia Secondary and High School will enroll 350 students in grade 6, with a competition ratio of 1/14. This is arguably the highest competition ratio ever.

Candidates in the survey on the morning of June 16

The survey includes multiple choice and essay sections. The survey content aims to assess English and Vietnamese language proficiency; mathematics and logical thinking; natural sciences; social sciences: history - geography; and common life knowledge.

90-minute aptitude test, consisting of 2 parts:

Multiple choice section: 20 multiple choice questions (30 minutes).

The essay section (60 minutes) consists of 3 parts:

- English proficiency test (listening, reading, writing): Students take the test in English.

- Survey of mathematical ability and logical thinking: Students do the test in Vietnamese.

- Reading comprehension and writing skills test: Students do the test in Vietnamese.

Based on the results of the survey, the Department of Education and Training will consider the list from high to low until the quota is met. It is expected that on June 22, the results and benchmark scores for the survey to enter grade 6 at Tran Dai Nghia Secondary and High School will be announced.

In order to meet the needs of parents and candidates to look up exam scores of exams and surveys, Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper opened a portal to look up exam scores.
