The Director of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City requested all officials and teachers of the city to strictly implement the regulations on extra teaching and learning; have a plan to inspect and review; and resolutely not let illegal extra teaching and learning happen inside and outside the school. At the same time, continue to synchronously implement solutions to deploy the 2018 general education program to ensure quality.

In addition, units absolutely must not slacken in organizing review and training for students with unsatisfactory learning results, and organize for final year students to strengthen their review for entrance exams and graduation exams according to the school's educational plan. The Director of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City also requested the Departments of Education and Training to strictly implement the direction of the Chairman of the People's Committee on guiding and inspecting extra teaching and learning activities; and take measures to handle cases of violations of regulations on extra teaching and learning in the area.
In addition, units must focus on disseminating to primary schools the absolute prohibition of organizing extra classes for primary school students, while at the same time increasing and supplementing club activities, talent development activities (arts, sports, etc.), and life skills training, ensuring that they are suitable for local characteristics and parents' pick-up and drop-off times.
