Experience off-road driving with the BMW X-Venture

Following the success of the BMW X-Venture journey in the North and Central regions taking place in the first quarter of 2024, in this BMW X-Venture journey, THACO AUTO and BMW brought a new experience by designing a trip focusing on driving feeling, especially the off-road capability of BMW X-Series models.

According to the schedule, the group departed from the BMW Sala showroom, following the Long Thanh - Dau Giay - Phan Thiet highway. Traveling more than 200km to the first stop in Phan Thiet, the whole group began to get acquainted with the car and felt the stable long-distance running ability of the BMW models.

Continuing the journey through Gia Lam Gia Bac Pass (QL28) to Da Lat, this is where the excitement of the BMW X-Venture journey begins. BMW X-Series models such as BMW X3, X4, X5, X6 and X7 have proven their reliability when easily overcoming mountain passes with many sharp bends, steep slopes and winding curves.

Coming to the "City of thousands of pine trees", the group stopped to rest at Lat Valley, a peaceful and beautiful valley, a suitable place to enjoy the cool and romantic atmosphere of Da Lat.

The second day of the BMW X-Venture journey was to conquer Off-road at a famous landmark of Da Lat - "Lonely Pine Tree" hill. The road to this location was even more difficult because Da Lat was in the rainy season, the red dirt road was muddy and very slippery.

However, BMW X-Series models equipped with Xdrive have overcome these challenges easily. XDrive was born for Off-road and only when going off-road can you feel the full superiority of this four-wheel drive system.

In real-life situations where the front wheels are stuck due to slippery roads, XDrive will automatically assist in distributing the thrust to the rear wheels to push the car forward. A guest driving a BMW X5 shared that driving the X5 through this section of road is quite simple, there is almost no need to change the driving mode and the car still has enough force to move forward.

In the afternoon of the same day, the group continued their journey along Highway 28 to Phan Thiet. On the third day, which was also the last day of the journey, the whole group immersed themselves in the open space of the island paradise of Binh Thuan , traveling along the Bau Trang coastal road - one of the most beautiful coastal roads in Vietnam.

On this route, the group members experienced the flexibility of the BMW X-Series models when driving on sand roads. At the end of the day, the group moved back to Ho Chi Minh City, ending the BMW X-Venture journey with lots of fun and interesting experiences.

The BMW X-Venture journey from Ho Chi Minh City - Da Lat - Phan Thiet went through beautiful roads, admiring the majestic natural scenery at Liliang waterfall or enjoying the pleasant air and tasting the specialties of Phan Thiet sea. These will be unforgettable experiences for the participants.
