Equipping fire prevention and safe escape skills for more than 200 preschool children

The Fire Prevention and Fighting Police Department (PCCC) and Rescue Department (CNCH) recently coordinated with Vinh Son Kindergarten, Ba Xuyen Ward to propagate, guide and experience fire prevention and fighting and rescue skills for more than 200 students of the school.

Officers of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department introduced basic and practical knowledge about fire prevention and fighting, accidents and incidents in schools and families; guided children to recognize dangerous signs of fire and explosion, how to handle when detecting smoke and fire; safe escape skills, how to call 114 to report a fire.

In particular, children also participated in fire escape practice; learned about the equipment and protective clothing of the Fire Police and Rescue Force; watched a demonstration of fire extinguishing with a fire extinguisher; and participated in games to learn about fire safety knowledge.

Practical experience activities take place in an exciting and lively way, helping children absorb knowledge naturally, easily understood and easily remembered.

This is also an opportunity for teachers to strengthen their skills in handling emergency situations, master student evacuation procedures, coordinate effectively with authorities in real-life situations, and contribute to building a safe, healthy and friendly school environment.
