EVNNPT performs well in production, business and construction investment targets.
According to the plan assigned by Vietnam Electricity Group (EVNNPT), the plan target for 2025 is to transmit 269.1 billion kWh of electricity (develop and prepare plans to ensure electricity supply in case of higher electricity demand growth).
Of which, EVNNPT's power transmission output in September 2025 is estimated at 21.6 billion kWh, an increase of 5.98% over the same period in September 2024. In the first 9 months of 2025, the power transmission output reached 193.148 billion kWh, an increase of 3.61% over the same period in 2024, equal to 71.77% of the yearly plan.
EVNNPT said that in the first 9 months of 2025, the transmission grid basically operated safely, providing stable and continuous power supply, the number of incidents decreased compared to the same period last year, and power supply safety indicators (incident rate, SAIDI-T, SAIFI-T) were ensured.
Regarding the implementation of the construction investment plan, in September 2025, EVNNPT started 3 projects, specifically the 220 kV Hai Phong - Gia Loc line; the 220 kV double-circuit line connecting the 220 kV Bac Lieu transformer station (TBA) transitioning on the 220 kV Ca Mau - Soc Trang line, and installing the third transformer at the 220 kV Than Uyen substation. In the first 9 months of 2025, EVNNPT started 26 projects.
Regarding the energization plan, in September 2025, EVNNPT energized 4 projects including: Installing 2 500 kV Tay Ha Noi substations; 220 kV Vung Ang substation and connection; Installing 2 220 kV Long Xuyen substations; 220 kV Gia Loc substation and connection lines. In the first 9 months of 2025, EVNNPT energized 21 projects.

Focus on the last 3 months of the year
From now until the end of the year, EVNNPT strives to complete the goals and plans assigned by EVN. In the management of operations, power supply and production and business activities, the focus is on strengthening the management of the transmission grid to minimize incidents and ensure safe, continuous and stable power supply.
At the same time, maintain the indicators of incident rate and power supply reliability. Ensure operation of the entire power transmission system during the rainy and stormy season.
Along with that, EVNNPT also focuses on reviewing and promoting solutions to reduce the rate of electricity used for transmission, striving to complete the planned targets assigned by the Group. Speed up the progress of major repair work. Ensure the progress of supplying materials, equipment and human resources to complete the assigned volume, and conduct periodic testing to ensure the quality of equipment on the transmission grid.
Regarding construction investment, EVNNPT focuses on accelerating the implementation plan for the preparation and submission of feasibility study reports and technical designs to meet the set schedule and plan. Accelerate the implementation of investment preparation and implementation of construction investment projects, ensuring the plan for construction investment volume and disbursement according to plan.
Regarding the groundbreaking work, EVNNPT focuses on speeding up the progress to soon start the projects with construction plans. Speeding up the project settlement work to complete according to the plan and regulations. Focusing on completing the target of unmanned substations according to the plan.
Along with that, focus on electricity import projects, projects to clear the Northwest hydropower, specifically projects to import electricity from Laos such as: 220 kV Do Luong - Nam Cam line, 220 kV Tuong Duong - Do Luong line.
