The 68kg Tiger belt defense match ended nearly 48 hours ago, but the echoes of the unequal match are still being discussed by the martial arts community, because the victory was too easy for Ha The Anh.
Before the match, experts said that the advantage was in Ha The Anh's hands when all technical parameters almost overwhelmed Pham Anh Duc - the boxer challenging for the belt.

Trinh Quang Khai Minh wrote: "In this match, Pham Anh Duc did not have to go to the hospital for surgery, which is already a success. I don't know what he used to dare to accept this bet."
User Ly Hung Dang said: "As an audience, I don't consider this a title match, because the two people are really too different. Anyone who watches will realize who won without even having to fight."
So why is there a title match between Ha The Anh and Pham Anh Duc at GMA 08?
According to the explanation, Pham Anh Duc won the semi-finals of the 68kg Tiger category at GMA 04 in May 2025. Pham Anh Duc (Leo Jiujitsu Club) defeated Vu Hai of Tiger MMA with a submission in 1 minute 45 seconds. Therefore, he has the right to compete for the title with the champion.
Despite the imbalance, Pham Anh Duc’s efforts and courage cannot be denied. After the match, he could not even leave the arena by himself and had to be carried home by his teammates.

In the Duong Lang class (53kg): Luong Trong Nghia defeated Phan Ngoc Hieu by KO in the second round; Huynh Quang Thien defeated Bui Xuan Nguyen after 3 extremely intense rounds.
Cobra (55kg): Pham Ben Long won against Dang Khanh Nhien and Le Minh Luan did the same against Dang Quoc Quang.
Eagle Class (59kg): Le Quang Linh defeated Huynh Ngoc Hung by TKO.
Black Panther (63kg): Pham Kim Quoc Huy had his second victory against Tran Nhat Long. Bui Van Le also had a convincing victory against Tran Quang Hien in his debut match.
