Each household was given 100 fully vaccinated chickens and 2 bags of mixed feed. The total cost of implementing the model was 212 million VND, supported by the locality mobilizing businesses. Households were also trained in breeding techniques and disease prevention, helping people to take the best care of their chickens, creating high productivity and value.
According to Ngo Van Chinh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Hoa Hoi Commune Party Committee, the commune was merged from Hoa Hung, Hoa Binh and Hoa Hoi communes (formerly Xuyen Moc district, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province). The people's economy is mainly agricultural production, but some households still face many difficulties. Supporting chicken farming is one of the solutions to help reduce poverty sustainably. Currently, the government is continuing to mobilize many livelihood models to help newly escaped-poverty households access capital from preferential credit programs, invest in economic development, create jobs and increase income.
On the same morning, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hoa Hoi commune mobilized to give 1 ton of rice to 50 disadvantaged households. It is known that from the beginning of July 2025 to now, the Fatherland Front of the commune has mobilized to give 1,429 gifts including: rice, necessities, scholarships and health insurance to poor households, households in especially difficult circumstances, and people with disabilities.
