Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Duong Noi ward is proactive and creative in movement activities.

HNP - On September 28, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Duong Noi ward held its first Congress to evaluate its activities over the past term and discuss directions and tasks for the 2025-2030 term.

During the past term, Duong Noi Ward Youth Union had 41 affiliated Youth Union organizations with 1,700 members. With the attention, leadership and direction of the City Youth Union, Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of the ward, the Youth Union cadres were gradually rejuvenated, energetic, enthusiastic, with many initiatives, cultural level and professional expertise were increasingly improved; solidarity and high unity in organizing activities in the Youth Union and youth movement, attracting union members and young people to participate in the Youth Union organization, movement activities were always innovative and creative, going into depth.

Duong Noi Ward Youth Union has focused on implementing 4 main contents, which are: Political and ideological education, ethics, lifestyle; results of implementing youth movements and revolutionary action programs; building the Youth Union organization, expanding the solidarity front, gathering youth, and youth work to participate in Party building; Caring for and educating children; proactively advising the Party Committee and government to implement programs, directives, and projects on youth work such as "Strengthening the Party's leadership over youth work in the period of industrialization and modernization", "Promoting youth work in the new situation"; youth work, care for children; promoting propaganda, education, and revolutionary action movements.

Propaganda and education work has diversified content, innovated methods, suitable for youth groups, harmoniously combining traditional education with moral and lifestyle education for union members and youth through the forms of praising and replicating advanced models, focusing on innovation in direction and organization of implementation in all groups of subjects. Through activities, a large number of youth have participated, thereby grasping the situation and thoughts of youth.

Organize a model of the Youth Union Cadre Talent Contest, study and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology , morality, style, the beauty of the green shirt..., through vivid visual propaganda forms such as banners, slogans, bulletin boards, proactively build groups and fanpages on social networking sites to both deploy information and tasks and grasp public opinion, thereby promptly orienting the ideology of union members and young people.

The Youth Volunteer Movement is divided into 4 main branches of activities including: volunteering for social security; volunteering to participate in building urban civilization; volunteering to protect the environment, responding to climate change; volunteering to participate in ensuring traffic order and safety, maintaining many effective models, namely: "Self-management 3+" Team; "Turning spontaneous garbage collection points into youth flower gardens"...; registering and taking on "Self-management Youth" routes, "Bright - Green - Clean - Beautiful - Civilized - Safe" routes. Periodically, organize weekly campaigns to clean up village roads and alleys, organize Green Sundays every quarter. Organize 15 on-site volunteer programs, pay attention to and take care of the lives of young people, policy families and people in difficult circumstances.

The youth shock movements of Duong Noi have promoted the creativity of the youth, the work of preventing and fighting the Covid-19 epidemic, dengue fever, contributing to controlling the epidemic situation, with more than 1,000 youth union members participating in supporting residential groups in epidemic prevention, vaccination, overturning stagnant water containers... The "Creative Youth" movement is concretized through the Student 3 movements to train and promote youth union members to study and do scientific research, which are applied and effectively applied in teaching and administrative reform; shock to protect the Fatherland, mobilizing youth union members to register for military service at the age of 17, reaching 100%; mobilizing youth volunteers to write applications to defend the Fatherland; "Youth of the People's Public Security learn and practice the 6 teachings of Uncle Ho - Shock, creativity, volunteer to make achievements for the security of the Fatherland"...

Extensively deploy the movement "Study and practice for tomorrow's career", encourage; the annual program "Support for exam season"; accompany young people in starting a business, establishing a career; practice and develop life skills, improve physical fitness, cultural and spiritual life; work in charge of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers Team, care for, protect, and educate teenagers and children in quality and depth, contributing to improving the quality of education and training in the ward.

The work of participating in building and protecting the Party and the political system was ensured, introducing 34 outstanding members to the Party for consideration of admission, of which 28 outstanding members were admitted to the Party. As a result, 9/10 targets were achieved and exceeded the plan of the previous term.

Speaking at the Congress, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Duong Noi Ward Nguyen Sy Hoat highly appreciated the activities of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the ward in the past time. Mr. Nguyen Sy Hoat directed the ward Youth Union to focus on implementing the contents in the coming term, contributing to the development of the ward, that is: The Youth Union determines to unite, gather forces, through practical actions to attract young union members to participate in the activities of the Union; focus on innovating activities, creating, building programs and actions suitable to the aspirations of young union members.

Pioneering work in the coming term needs to focus on digital transformation, projects and tasks of youth in the area so that the Party Committee and the government can acknowledge and evaluate. Youth Union members must promote education on ethics, lifestyle, culture, behavior, revolutionary traditions, and history of the country and locality, and set an example in all activities.

In the work of Party building, government, cadres and union members need to proactively advise the Party committees and government on innovating activities, introducing outstanding young union members to the Party to develop party members; conducting social criticism, protecting the Party's ideological foundation; turning slogans into specific tasks, focusing on pioneering in various fields, focusing on digital transformation, building many meaningful works and tasks such as environmental protection and urban management.

The Congress set out 6 tasks and 3 breakthroughs for the next term. The Congress announced the decision of the Hanoi Youth Union to appoint the Executive Committee of the Duong Noi Ward Youth Union, with 14 comrades. Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet Nhung was appointed as Secretary; Ms. Doan Thi Thuy Van, Deputy Secretary of the Duong Noi Ward Youth Union; appointed 2 comrades to officially attend the Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Hanoi City.
