HNP - On the afternoon of September 28, the 1st Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Dai Thanh commune, term 2025 - 2030 took place with the participation of 123 official delegates. The Congress took place at a time when the Party Committee, government and people of Dai Thanh commune were determined to successfully implement the Resolution of the 1st Congress of the Party Committee of Dai Thanh commune, term 2025 - 2030.

The Congress is an important forum for the youth, with the task of reviewing and evaluating the work of the Union and youth movement in the past time, affirming the achievements, reviewing the limitations, clarifying the causes and lessons learned.

On that basis, decide on the goals and directions of the Youth Union and Youth Movement in the 2025 - 2030 term; Discuss and contribute opinions to the draft documents of the 16th Hanoi City Youth Union Congress.

Representatives of the Hanoi Youth Union leaders and comrades in the Congress steering group presented flowers to congratulate the youth of Dai Thanh commune.

Implementing the policy of arranging administrative units and building a two-level government model, Dai Thanh commune was established under Resolution No. 1656 dated June 16, 2025 of the National Assembly Standing Committee. Immediately after its establishment, the Youth Union of Dai Thanh commune was quickly consolidated, promoting the spirit of vanguard, volunteerism, and creativity, making an important contribution to the political system in maintaining stability and developing the local socio-economy.

Currently, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the Commune has 44 affiliated youth unions, with a total of more than 3,000 union members; the Commune Youth Union Council has 10 affiliated Youth Unions.

In the context of being affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, climate change and the merger of administrative units, with the spirit of solidarity and high determination, Dai Thanh commune has achieved many important results in many fields. In that common achievement, the Youth Union and youth movement have closely followed the direction of the Hanoi Youth Union, proactively implemented tasks and made many outstanding contributions.

Political and ideological education work was carried out synchronously; Propaganda trends on social networks such as "The color of the flag I love", "Proud of Vietnam"... were widely responded to by union members and young people, creating a strong spreading effect. At the same time, the youth carried out 4 youth projects such as: painting, repairing houses and giving furniture to policy families, war invalids, and former Youth Volunteers in the commune. The total value was nearly 100 million VND.

The movements “Volunteer Saturday” and “Green Sunday” were widely deployed. In particular, the Commune Youth Union launched and coordinated with the Commune Women’s Union to implement the programs “Godmother” and “Following children to school” to give 5 bicycles, school supplies, and cash gifts to 30 disadvantaged students in the commune. The total value of the gifts was nearly 50 million VND.

The commune's Youth Union also mobilized nearly 200 youth union members to support the Commune People's Committee in paying Independence Day gifts on September 2 to the people in the commune. Entering the 2025-2030 term, Dai Thanh commune has many opportunities and advantages, but also faces many difficulties and challenges: rapid urbanization, increasingly high demand for quality human resources. This is both an opportunity and a heavy responsibility placed on the shoulders of the younger generation.

With the slogan of action "Solidarity - Innovation - Pioneering - Development", the political report of the Executive Committee of the Youth Union of Dai Thanh commune for the 2025 - 2030 term has set out 10 specific targets and 6 solutions, 3 breakthrough tasks to build and consolidate the Youth Union organization to be truly strong in ideology, politics, organization and action, truly becoming the shock force of the revolution, the core force of the youth, the reliable reserve force of the Party.

At the same time, the Youth Union continues to implement creative, breakthrough and sustainable solutions to create opportunities and motivation for young people to develop in learning, creative work, start-ups and careers; master modern scientific and technological knowledge; and promote an important role in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.

Speaking at the Congress, comrade Pham Van Ngát - Vice Chairman of Dai Thanh Commune People's Committee praised the outstanding achievements of the commune's youth in the past term. He also suggested that in the new term 2025 - 2030, promoting the vanguard role of the youth, the Commune Youth Union needs to widely and effectively deploy revolutionary action movements, linking the emulation movement of the Union with the task of socio-economic development of the locality. In addition, the Youth Union needs to innovate the content and methods of operation; strengthen the application of information technology, promote the effectiveness of communication on social networking platforms; Build a team of Youth Union cadres with courage, intelligence, enthusiasm; exemplary, responsible; always accompany the youth, promote the core political role in the youth movement of Dai Thanh commune.

The Congress announced the Decision of the Hanoi Youth Union on appointing 27 comrades to join the Executive Committee of the Commune Youth Union, term I, 2025 - 2030; appointing the Standing Committee, Secretary, Deputy Secretary and Inspection Committee of the Commune Youth Union.

Comrade Nguyen Thanh Tung was appointed as Secretary of the Dai Thanh Commune Youth Union, term I, 2025 - 2030.
