Training on livestock farming techniques for people in Trinh Tuong commune

On the morning of August 27, Economic - Defense Group 345 coordinated with the Agricultural Extension and Agricultural Services Center of Lao Cai province and the People's Committee of Trinh Tuong commune to organize training on livestock farming techniques for local people.

This activity is part of the Economic and Social Development Project - a model of soldiers associated with ethnic minority and mountainous areas in the Bat Xat National Defense Economic Zone, Military Region 2.

At the training course, ethnic minority households in Trinh Tuong commune were instructed on techniques for building livestock barns and waste treatment measures; disease prevention measures, techniques for growing, processing and storing food for buffalo, cows and horses.

In particular, the staff enthusiastically answered questions and concerns of households in raising buffalo, cows and horses for breeding.

In addition to imparting professional knowledge, the training session also disseminated social education contents such as: Harmful effects of early marriage, consanguineous marriage; strictly complying with the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws; doing a good job of environmental protection, ensuring food hygiene and safety and disease prevention.

Local people attend training class

Through the training course, households are equipped with the necessary knowledge in production and livestock breeding, gradually increasing their income and escaping poverty sustainably. This is also a way to demonstrate the responsibility of officers and soldiers of Economic - Defense Group 345 in accompanying ethnic minorities in economic development, stabilizing their lives, contributing to strengthening the people's trust in the Party, the State and the Vietnam People's Army.
