Exchange of experiences and skills in composing journalistic works on Party building

At the conference, delegates listened to the assessment of the participation in the press awards on Party building from the beginning of the term until now by the team of journalists of Lao Cai province; analyzed the themes and quality of the award-winning works. Information on the new points of the Golden Hammer and Sickle Awards; the fight against corruption and waste and the Political Contest on protecting the Party's ideological foundation in 2024. Answered issues of concern to reporters, journalists and authors during the actual process in the locality.

It is known that the 2020 Golden Hammer and Sickle Journalism Award in the whole province had 356 works, by 2023 there were nearly 1,000 works in all categories according to the regulations. In the political contest on protecting the Party's ideological foundation, in 2021 Lao Cai province received over 100 works, by 2022 received 568 entries, by 2023 the number of entries was 511 works.

According to the assessment of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, the quality of journalistic works participating in the Golden Hammer and Sickle Award; the fight against corruption and waste and the Political Contest on protecting the Party's ideological foundation has been improved compared to previous years; many authors/author groups have a series of articles and long-term reports vividly reflecting on Party building work at the grassroots level that have been of interest and well received by readers.

At the conference, representatives of press agencies and reporters exchanged experiences on how to select topics, exploit and process information, and create press works on Party building in print, electronic, radio and television, and raised a number of issues that needed to be answered.
