After more than three months of launching (from June 2025), the contest has attracted a large number of parents and children of various ages, from primary to secondary school in provinces and cities to participate. The contest videos show diversity in book selection and storytelling forms, from fairy tales, modern stories, skill books to works that nurture the soul. Most of the videos are carefully and creatively invested, expressing love for books through retelling stories, role-playing characters or sharing emotions while reading.

The contest aims to foster a love of reading in children, develop language skills, storytelling skills and self-confidence. This is also an opportunity for families to read, tell and share the positive things that books bring, so that each story becomes a “seed of love” to nurture a reading culture in the community.

In the first round, Nguyen Hoang Quynh Anh participated when she was a first grader. With a clear, emotional voice and natural performance, she surpassed many older students to win the highest prize.

Nguyen Hoang Quynh Anh shared: “I also like electronic devices, but only books are a priceless source of knowledge. Thanks to this contest, I read more children's books and hope that many friends will join to discover more interesting things from good books.”

The girl said that she used to be quite shy and afraid to speak in front of a crowd, but thanks to the teachers' guidance on presentation skills, she has become more confident. Before the contest, she also practiced telling stories vividly and naturally to inspire the audience.

Mr. Nguyen Van Sam, Quynh Anh's grandfather, said: "My family always wanted her to understand more about her homeland, so we guided her to tell the story "Ten girls of Dong Loc T-junction" in the book series "Young Heroes". That is a way for her to both learn and remember history."
