At the program, the Vietnam Youth Union of Hanoi reviewed the imprints of generations of Vietnamese youth in the history of revolutionary struggle and national construction. Under the glorious flag of the Party and great Uncle Ho, generations of Vietnamese youth have made many achievements, worthy of being the heroic youth generation of a heroic nation.
After 68 years of growth and development with 8 Congresses, the Vietnam Youth Union of Hanoi has promoted the role of solidarity, gathering young people, contributing to the successful implementation of the city's political tasks; promoting talents and youth strength to contribute to the strong development of the Union's work and the youth movement of the capital; building a green - civilized - cultured - modern capital Hanoi.
According to Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Youth Union, Chairman of the Vietnam Youth Union of Hanoi City Nguyen Duc Tien, the 7th Congress of Delegates of the Hanoi Youth Union took place on October 14 and 15, 2024 with the presence of 400 official delegates.
With the spirit of Patriotism - Pioneering - Exemplary - Solidarity - Creativity - Reaching out, the Congress conducted consultations to elect 69 members of the new Committee of the Vietnam Youth Federation of Hanoi; determined to successfully implement the Resolution of the 8th Congress of Delegates of the Youth Federation of the Capital, contributing to building a rich, civilized and modern Capital and country; building a generation of youth of the Capital: Firm courage, civilized behavior, law-abiding, rich knowledge, abundant health, proficient skills; worthy of the expectations and trust of the Party, government, people of the City and the expectations of the young generation of Vietnam; worthy of the teaching of beloved Uncle Ho "For all work, youth of the Capital must be an example for youth of the whole country".
On the occasion of the 68th anniversary of the Vietnam Youth Union's tradition day, to recognize the contributions of Union officials with outstanding achievements in the Union's work and the capital's youth movement in 2024, the Hanoi Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union decided to award the "October 15" prize to 16 Union officials with outstanding achievements in the Union's work and the youth movement in 2024.
At the same time, the Vietnam Youth Union of the City also awarded the "Beautiful Youth" award at the city level to 6 young people in the capital. This is an annual award given to exemplary young people who have jobs, noble deeds, and humanity, demonstrating the spirit of solidarity, mutual love, sharing difficulties with the community, transmitting positive energy to the community - especially young people.
