69 people participated in the 8th term of the Vietnam Youth Union Committee of Hanoi City

With high confidence, the Congress elected 69 people to join the Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union of Hanoi , term VIII, 2024-2029.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Youth Union Nguyen Duc Tien was re-elected as Chairman of the Vietnam Youth Union of Hanoi, term VIII, 2024-2029.

The Congress also consulted and elected a delegation of Hanoi City to attend the 9th National Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union , including 35 official delegates and 5 alternate delegates.

The Congress unanimously passed a Resolution with the following main targets: striving for at least 50 youth start-up projects to be connected with businesses, investment funds or receive investment support from legal funding sources each year; at least 100,000 youths to receive career counseling and guidance.

During the term, at least 60,000 youths and people were supported, provided with health care, and screened for chronic diseases for free. Every year, at least 80,000 young people participated in voluntary blood donation; at least 300,000 young people participated in activities to support the improvement of foreign language skills and international integration...

The Congress agreed to develop specific programs and plans, and organize the successful implementation of the resolution of the 8th Congress of Delegates of the Vietnam Youth Union of Hanoi, term 2024-2029.

At the first conference, the Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union of Hanoi City negotiated a Secretariat of 23 people; 6 people were negotiated to hold the position of Vice President of the Vietnam Youth Union of Hanoi City for the 8th term, 2024-2029 term.

In his closing speech at the congress, Nguyen Duc Tien, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Youth Union and Chairman of the Vietnam Youth Federation of Hanoi City, called on members and young people to unite, join hands, and strive to successfully implement the resolution of the 8th Congress of the Vietnam Youth Federation of Hanoi City; actively contributing to building the capital city to be increasingly rich, beautiful, civilized and modern.
