Decision handed over to professional soldiers of An Giang province

On August 3, the Defense Command of Region 2 - Long Xuyen (An Giang Provincial Military Command) held a conference to announce and award decisions to professional soldiers.

At the conference, authorized by the Party Committee and Military Command of An Giang province, the Defense Command of Region 2 - Long Xuyen announced the decision of the Military Region 9 Command to agree to demobilize 50 retired officers; raise salary levels, and promote many professional soldiers under its command ahead of schedule.

On the same day, agencies and units under the An Giang Provincial Military Command simultaneously held similar conferences.

Speaking at the conference, commanders of units affirmed that the rearrangement and reorganization of administrative units at all levels is a correct policy of the Party and State, stemming from objective requirements, expanding the space for socio -economic and cultural development, maintaining national defense and security; implementing the goal of building a lean, compact, and strong Army, including resolving the regime and policy of early retirement for officers who wish.

The unit commanders acknowledged the efforts, struggles and dedication of the cadres receiving this decision and hoped that they would always uphold the image of Uncle Ho's soldiers, be a shining example for their families and places of residence; continue to promote spirit and responsibility, and contribute to the development of the locality.
