Donating 50,000 sets of textbooks in Ho Chi Minh City

Accompanying the new school year 2025-2026, Phuong Nam Education Investment and Development Joint Stock Company (Phuong Nam Education Company) and Vietnam Education Publishing House (Vietnam Education Publishing House) are completing the donation of 50,000 sets of textbooks to students in especially difficult circumstances (students in remote, isolated, disadvantaged areas; students from poor and near-poor households,...) in Ho Chi Minh City.

This is not only a simple educational support activity but also a clear demonstration of the community responsibility of the publishing unit and distributor.

The textbook donation program is an annual activity of the Vietnam Education Publishing House and Phuong Nam Education Company. Every year, hundreds of thousands of textbooks and library bookshelves are handed to students in difficult circumstances, helping them to have a full knowledge base to confidently go to school. Receiving new textbooks is always a great source of encouragement for students, helping to reduce the burden at the beginning of the school year for parents.

Textbooks have arrived at Binh Trieu Primary School, Hiep Binh Ward.

“On behalf of the school, I would like to express my sincere thanks to the publisher and your company for your interest and support in providing textbooks for students of Binh Trieu Primary School. Many students of the school are in difficult circumstances, most of their parents are workers and laborers, so providing new textbooks is also a big concern. Thanks to the companionship and care of Phuong Nam Company, today the students have been fully equipped with books and notebooks to go to school.

This is not only the joy of the parents but also the joy of the school, when seeing the children happily receive new books. We believe that this action is a great encouragement and motivation for the children to be more confident and try harder in their studies. Attending the textbook donation ceremony at the school, not only the students but also the school's Board of Directors and teachers were happy to see the meaningful gifts being handed to the students.

“Over the past years, in order to help students in difficult circumstances have enough books to study, the school has launched a movement to donate old textbooks throughout the school to give to students in difficult circumstances, helping them to go to school. Therefore, when I received the gifts of new textbooks, I felt truly touched and grateful. This is a great source of encouragement, helping students to be more confident and make efforts on their learning path. I would like to express my deep gratitude to the sponsor for bringing this extremely meaningful gift,” Ms. Pham Thi Phuong, Principal of Phan Chu Trinh Primary School, Lai Thieu Ward, expressed her deep gratitude to Phuong Nam Education Company.

Textbooks from Phuong Nam Education Company have been delivered to students of Nguyen Trong Tuyen Primary School (Thanh My Tay Ward).

“I would like to thank you for giving us new textbooks. My family's circumstances are more difficult than many of my classmates', so buying new textbooks is not easy. Today, receiving new books, I feel very happy and have more motivation to try to study. I promise to be good and try harder to not let down the care and love that you and teachers have given us,” said Nguyen Trong Tam, a student of class 3/8 at Phan Chu Trinh Primary School, during the textbook donation ceremony.

With the support from the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam Education Publishing House and Phuong Nam Education Company had the opportunity to access and donate more than 50,000 sets of textbooks according to the 2018 General Education Program to 650 schools/general education institutions in Ho Chi Minh City.
