Giving away social insurance books and health insurance cards in Ha Hoa district

On October 18, implementing the program "Giving Social Insurance (SI) books and Health Insurance (HI) cards to people in difficult circumstances in 26 provinces and cities affected by storm No. 3 (Yagi)", Vietnam Social Security coordinated with sponsors to organize a program to give SI books and HI cards to people in difficult circumstances affected by storm No. 3 in Ha Hoa district in Hien Luong commune.

Deputy General Director of Vietnam Social Security Chu Manh Sinh presented 40 social insurance books and 270 health insurance cards to representatives of the Fatherland Front Committee of the province and Ha Hoa district.

Attending the program were Mr. Chu Manh Sinh - Deputy General Director of Vietnam Social Security; leaders of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Provincial Social Security, Ha Hoa district and representatives of sponsors.

At the program, Vietnam Social Security and sponsors presented 40 social insurance books and 270 health insurance cards to people in difficult circumstances affected by storm No. 3 in Ha Hoa district with a total value of over 483 million VND.

Leaders of the Provincial Social Insurance presented social insurance books and health insurance cards to representatives of the leaders of Xuan Ang and Dan Thuong communes and Ha Hoa town.

Speaking at the program, Mr. Chu Manh Sinh, Deputy General Director of Vietnam Social Security, emphasized: The program of giving social insurance books and health insurance cards to people in difficult circumstances in general, and people affected by storm No. 3 in particular, is an activity to spread the State's social security policy; widely mobilize the participation of civil servants, public employees, and workers in the entire Vietnam Social Security sector and the social community in giving social insurance books and health insurance cards to people in difficult circumstances. The program has contributed to encouraging, sharing, and helping people in difficult circumstances affected by storms and floods to reduce the burden of medical examination and treatment costs; at the same time, creating conditions and opportunities for more and more people to participate in social insurance and health care with health insurance.

People are happy to receive social insurance books and health insurance cards given by Vietnam Social Security.

In order to support people affected by storm No. 3, through Vietnam Social Security, 4 businesses have registered to donate 1,129 social insurance books and 8,680 health insurance cards to those directly affected in 26 provinces and cities; total value of nearly 15 billion VND.
