Over 21% of agricultural cooperatives are classified as good.

Since the beginning of the year, the whole province has had 21 newly established agricultural cooperatives, 4 dissolved agricultural cooperatives, bringing the total number of agricultural cooperatives in the province to 444 with 44,391 members (208 crop cooperatives; 12 livestock cooperatives; 37 aquaculture cooperatives; 187 general agricultural cooperatives).

Of which, good agricultural cooperatives account for 21.1%, fair agricultural cooperatives account for 53.1%, average agricultural cooperatives account for 21.3%, weak cooperatives account for 4.5%, and unclassified cooperatives. All cooperatives comply with the Law on Cooperatives.

The agricultural sector has increased support activities for agricultural cooperatives such as: building a new model of agricultural cooperatives; supporting investment in rice milling equipment for cooperatives; supporting product traceability stamps for 2 cooperatives; organizing and coordinating training for agricultural cooperatives...

In the coming time, the agricultural sector will continue to build and replicate new agricultural cooperative models, support training and coaching for agricultural cooperative management staff, create favorable conditions for cooperatives to access capital, transfer science and technology, build brands, promote products, etc.
