Effective implementation of social security and gender equality work

The Binh Dinh Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association has just held the 4th Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association Congress, term 2025-2030. This is also an event to celebrate 20 years of operation of the Association since the establishment of the Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Club.

Ms. Dong Thi Anh, President of the Binh Dinh Province Women Entrepreneurs Association, said that after 20 years of establishment, the Association has nearly 800 members and established branches in 21 clubs. In the general development of the province, there are important contributions from the business community and female entrepreneurs. In the past 5 years, female-owned enterprises have achieved high revenues of thousands of billions of VND, creating jobs for tens of thousands of workers with good incomes.

The Association actively participates in social, humanitarian and charitable activities; organizes many programs, exchange and charity activities to help people in difficult circumstances, people with disabilities, victims of Agent Orange-dioxin... supporting thousands of Tet gifts for the poor and the lonely; participates in supporting the Gratitude Fund, supporting people in natural disaster and flood areas with a total amount of tens of billions of VND. At the same time, the Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association has had many activities to support and encourage female entrepreneurs - members to be proactive, confident and effective, to carry out well the work of social security, gender equality, building corporate culture and sustainable development.

Ms. Dong Thi Anh, President of the Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association, delivered the opening speech at the Congress.

The 20th anniversary celebration and the 4th Congress of the Binh Dinh Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association is an event that marked the development of the women entrepreneurs movement in a province that holds an important position in the South Central and Central Highlands regions.

Acknowledging the growth of the Binh Dinh Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association, Ms. Cao Thi Ngoc Dung, Vice President of the Vietnam Association of Women Entrepreneurs (VAWE), commented: The Binh Dinh Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association always closely coordinates with VAWE and the Provincial Women's Union in implementing activities, attracting the participation of not only female entrepreneurs of the province but also of female entrepreneurs from many other provinces and cities across the country.

At the Congress, Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan emphasized: 2025 is identified as the year of "acceleration" and "breakthrough", which is decisive in successfully implementing the goals and targets of the 2020-2025 term, while creating a foundation and driving force to enter a new development stage with the whole country. The Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association needs to make efforts to promote its role even more strongly, both ensuring that businesses can overcome difficulties and go far, and performing well the role of women in the family.

At the 4th Congress of the Binh Dinh Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association, term 2025-2030, delegates elected the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Inspection Committee, and Standing Committee of the Association for the term 2025-2030. Ms. Dong Thi Anh, President of the Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association for the term 2020-2025, was re-elected as President of the Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association for the term 2025-2030; and passed the Resolution of the Congress for the term.
