On August 2, information from the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department said that the Criminal Police Department had just coordinated with District 1 Police to destroy a prostitution den for foreigners, disguised as the G&G restaurant (at 165/76-78 Nguyen Thai Binh Street, Nguyen Thai Binh Ward, District 1).

Currently, the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department has urgently arrested 7 subjects including: Hoang Anh Hao, Yu Sungho, Ngo Thi Ngoc Thuy, Lee Jihyoung, Kim Ji Hoon, Kang MinCheol, Nguyen Kim Diem (aka Madam Yen) for the act of prostitution brokerage .

Police are continuing to expand the investigation and search for related subjects.

Accordingly, through professional work and area management, the Criminal Police Department discovered that G&G restaurant was engaging in prostitution brokerage for foreigners.

This restaurant has been operating since May 22nd. The group of subjects includes: Hoang Anh Hao, Yu Sungho, Ngo Thi Ngoc Thuy, Cho Kiwan who own and directly operate and manage all activities. There are 30 rooms with signs of illegal karaoke activities. The restaurant mainly serves foreign guests, Chinese and Korean.

At this venue, there are 8 Korean managers, 3 Vietnamese "madams", 2 service staff and more than 120 female attendants ready to serve customers.

It is worth mentioning that G&G restaurant has public advertising clips on social networks to attract customers. The advertising information says that this is a safe place to eat and play, with sexy female dancers and ready to sell sex when customers need it, with cheap prices from 2.5-4 million VND/time; the locations for selling sex are hotels and luxury apartments with full amenities and luxury cars to pick up and drop off.

G&G restaurant is rumored in the service business community in Vietnam, Korean playboys are a paradise; any Korean guest coming to Vietnam must come to experience, satisfy, admire...

After fully grasping the information, on July 12, the Criminal Police Department's detectives coordinated with District 1 Police and related units to suddenly conduct an administrative inspection of the G&G restaurant.

Here, the police discovered many documents related to the restaurant's "madam" sending 4 female attendants to sell sex at luxury apartments in Thu Duc City and Binh Thanh District. The police inspected the locations of prostitution and invited the related subjects to come in for questioning.

Restaurant owners such as Hoang Anh Hao, Yu Sungho, Ngo Thi Ngoc Thuy… declared that in order to increase revenue, they instructed their subordinates to allow female restaurant attendants to sell sex to foreigners upon request. The Korean owners, managers, and Vietnamese "madams" regularly held secret meetings to instruct on how to operate prostitution.

Accordingly, when entering a restaurant, foreign guests must have their passports checked to confirm their nationality or have a sponsor. Security guards must regularly check and chase away Vietnamese people if they are found standing in front of the restaurant; and they must constantly change the location of prostitution.

Police said that in 2 months of operating G&G restaurant, the subjects illegally profited about 10 billion VND.

Police urgently arrested and detained 7 subjects, including the Korean owner, manager, and Vietnamese "madam", to prepare documents for processing and are continuing to expand the investigation.
