Helicopters carry high school graduation exam papers to Phu Quy and Con Dao islands

On June 26, the Department of Education and Training of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province informed that this year, Con Dao island district has 94 candidates, taking the exam in 5 rooms. The exam site is 185km from the mainland, located at Vo Thi Sau High School (Con Dao district).

According to regulations, daily exam papers are sealed, kept at the exam site and taken by helicopter to the mainland for grading on the last day of the exam. Currently, 27 exam supervisors and graduation exam papers have been taken by helicopter to Con Dao. The exam papers are protected 24/7 by a strict security team.

In Binh Thuan province, Mr. Luong Van Ha, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Binh Thuan province, said that the unit had completed the transportation of exam papers and sent 35 officials to Phu Quy island since the morning of June 25. Currently, the graduation exam papers are kept on the island, with security forces monitoring and protecting them 24/7 along with a security camera system and fire and explosion prevention equipment.

This year, Ngo Quyen High School on Phu Quy Island has 266 candidates, divided into 12 rooms. The total number of staff, teachers, employees, medical staff, police, electricity workers, and inspectors here is 55, of which 35 people from the mainland have been reinforced to perform duties at this year's high school graduation exam.

Phu Quy island district is more than 100km from the mainland. This is the fourth year that Binh Thuan province has organized the exam for candidates on the island, they do not have to take a passenger boat to Phan Thiet city as before.
