Book exhibition commemorating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2

(GLO)- From August 18 to September 7, Gia Lai Provincial Library will display and introduce books with the theme "80 years of the successful August Revolution and National Day September 2 - A historical milestone".

The exhibition space introduces more than 500 books, including over 300 paper books and more than 200 e-books. The content focuses on the following topics: the Communist Party of Vietnam , President Ho Chi Minh, the August Revolution, the birth of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam; two great resistance wars against French colonialism and American imperialism; the 80-year journey of building and defending the Fatherland.

In particular, the Library compiles and introduces a specialized directory: "August Revolution 1945 - Marks of the times", helping readers have a comprehensive view of the important historical event through a system of newspapers, articles and rich sources of documents, while also supporting convenient searching on the Library's directory data.

During this exhibition, the Provincial Library also introduced many valuable publications about Gia Lai province, reflecting the history, culture, innovation, as well as the outstanding contributions of the locality in the struggle to protect and build the country. The highlight of the activity also included video presentations, digital documentary images and historical documents, giving readers a vivid, intuitive view of the nation's brilliant milestones.

The book exhibition and introduction activities aim to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), contributing to the propaganda and education of revolutionary traditions, affirming the great value and significance of the important historical event; contributing to spreading reading culture, fostering love for the homeland and country and arousing national pride, especially among the young generation.
