Ha Tinh fishermen earn hundreds of millions after catching big golden fish

On April 28, Mr. Tran Tuan Vu, Chairman of the Farmers' Association of Cam Nhuong Commune, Cam Xuyen District ( Ha Tinh Province) informed reporters that fisherman Le Xuan Tien, Xuan Bac Village, Cam Nhuong Commune, had just caught a batch of precious goldfish weighing more than 1 ton. As soon as the boat docked, people and traders rushed to buy it, earning more than 300 million VND.

According to fisherman Le Xuan Tien, while the crew was casting nets in a lagoon around Boc Island (about 1.5km from Cam Nhuong estuary, Cam Xuyen district), they suddenly discovered a school of yellowfin tuna. Fisherman Le Xuan Tien and other fishermen on the boat set up a net to block the school of fish, and after nearly 40 minutes the school of yellowfin tuna was completely contained in the net.

When the boat hit a big catch of gold, fisherman Le Xuan Tien's boat docked at Cam Nhuong port. Locals and traders knew the news and arrived very early to buy the fish. After 2 hours, the 1-ton catch was purchased. The catch of goldfish was sold for 350,000-450,000 VND/kg, earning about 300 million VND.

It is known that since the beginning of the year, this is the time fisherman Le Xuan Tien has had the biggest catch of yellowfin tuna. Before that, this fisherman had also had many big catches of this valuable fish.
