Recently, United Aircraft Corporation introduced a new aircraft model in Wuhu Aviation Industrial Park in Luanzhi District, Wuhu City, Anhui Province. The tilt-wing aircraft named Lanying R6000 is the world's most advanced unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) independently developed by United Aircraft Corporation.

China's Lanying R6000 aircraft can fly autonomously to travel up to 4,000 km, carrying 10 people or 2 tons of cargo.

The Lanying R6000 can support both cargo and passenger operations, serving long-distance flights from one location to another. The maximum take-off weight (MTOW) of the Lanying R6000 is 6 tons and the maximum cargo weight is 2 tons. The aircraft can carry 10 passengers with a maximum range of 4,000 km. The vehicle's fastest cruise speed is 550 km/h, and its maximum cruise altitude is 7,620 m.

Once operational in the future, the Lanying R6000 will change the way people travel and the logistics industry, providing strong support to many fields such as transportation, cargo, emergency response and defense. The Lanying R6000 can take off and land vertically and hover in the air like a conventional helicopter. It has the advantage of high-speed cruising like a fixed-wing aircraft due to its advanced and complex tilt-wing configuration. However, because of this, the Lanying R6000 is difficult to manufacture and has a low tolerance for assembly errors.

As a result, United relocated its production lines to Wuhu United Aircraft, the group’s main manufacturing base in eastern China. After 10 years of development, the Wuhu Aviation Industrial Park now attracts nearly 200 enterprises spanning the entire supply chain, including research and development, manufacturing, maintenance, operations, training, and transportation.
