The Mid-Autumn Festival lanterns were lit up; children sang happily, carried lanterns, received gifts, cakes... These were the activities at the 2025 Mid-Autumn Festival - a meaningful spiritual gift that the Provincial Youth Union gave to the children of young workers and laborers in Binh An commune. The program not only has the meaning of supporting and sharing difficulties with the families of workers and laborers, but is also an opportunity to create an atmosphere of solidarity, spreading the spirit of responsibility and sharing in the community, helping children strive to study well, practice being good, and become useful citizens for society.
Nguyen Phuong Nguyen, a student at Binh An 1 Primary School in Binh An Commune, said: “After receiving Mid-Autumn Festival gifts of cakes and lanterns, I will bring them home to eat with my family and invite my friends in the neighborhood to play lantern parade. I hope that the Youth Union members will continue to organize meaningful Mid-Autumn Festival programs like this in the coming years so that we can have fun and enjoy the feast.”
Mid-Autumn Festival is not only an occasion for children to carry lanterns, enjoy feasts, and receive gifts, but it is also a warm time for families and communities to show their care and love for the young generation. With the theme "Lanterns light up dreams", the Provincial Youth Union organizes Mid-Autumn Festival activities in 2025 in many localities in the province. Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union Du Pham Huu Khuyen said: "The Youth Union at all levels in the province organizes many Mid-Autumn Festival activities to care for and support children, especially children in difficult circumstances, poor households, children of young workers; children in remote, border and island areas; children in especially difficult circumstances. Through supporting Mid-Autumn Festival gifts including lanterns, cakes, candies, milk; supporting school supplies, books, notebooks, scholarships, uniforms, helping students have good conditions to go to school".
Joining hands to take care of children to enjoy the Mid-Autumn Festival, the Youth Union of the Provincial Traffic Police Department organized the "Full Moon Festival Night" activities for children and students in difficult circumstances in U Minh Thuong commune, associated with propaganda of laws on traffic order and safety. The program has many meaningful activities such as organizing cooking for children "Full Bowl", 0 VND clothing stall, giving 100 Mid-Autumn Festival gifts to students in difficult circumstances...
Senior Lieutenant Ngo Hoang Hao - Secretary of the Youth Union of the Provincial Traffic Police Department said: "The series of activities of the Mid-Autumn Festival organized by the Youth Union of the unit aims to bring a joyful and warm Mid-Autumn Festival to children and students in difficult circumstances in remote areas and encourage students to excel in their studies and become useful people for society. At the same time, it is associated with propaganda of laws on traffic order and safety, contributing to equipping students with basic knowledge, helping them have good awareness when participating in traffic".
