Lieutenant General Mai Hoang visits and presents gifts to outstanding policy families

On the afternoon of July 24, a delegation of the City Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City led by Lieutenant General Mai Hoang, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Director of Ho Chi Minh City Police Department, visited and presented gifts to outstanding policy families, on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025).

The delegation visited Ms. Bui Ngoc Anh (aka Bui Thi Hieu Thao, resident of Binh Dong ward, a resistance activist infected with toxic chemicals).

Ms. Anh is the Secretary of the Ward Party Cell, once honored as an exemplary Secretary of the City Party Cell, for many consecutive years an example of "Good people, good deeds". Her family always complies well with the policies of the Party and the State.

Next, the delegation visited Mr. Tran Van Dung (residing in Phu Dinh ward, 1/4 class disabled veteran). He was the former Chairman of the Blind Association of District 8 (formerly), with many contributions to the association's work and caring for the disadvantaged.

In Chanh Hung ward, the delegation visited Mr. Pham Van Tan, a 1/4 class disabled veteran, and Mr. Pham Ngoc An, a pre-uprising cadre.

The two families are always exemplary, typical examples in the locality. In particular, Mr. Pham Ngoc An regularly participates in charity work, mobilizing to care for the poor in the locality.

Lieutenant General Mai Hoang kindly visited and wished the wounded soldiers and pre-uprising cadres good health and longevity, and continued contributions to the locality. At the same time, they continued to be shining examples for their descendants to follow, and a spiritual support for the Party Committee, government and people of the city.

According to the Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department, the sacrifices and contributions of the uncles and aunts are shining symbols of patriotism and national spirit. The Party Committee, government and people of Ho Chi Minh City always remember and appreciate these contributions, considering them a valuable foundation to continue building an increasingly developed and affectionate city.
