Ho Chi Minh City University of Law announced early admission benchmark scores

On the evening of June 21, the Admissions Council of Ho Chi Minh City University of Law announced the benchmark scores for eligibility to be admitted to the full-time university level in 2023 with the early admission method according to a separate admission plan.

Specifically, the school announced the admission score (without coefficient) for subject 2 based on international language scores/certificates (criterion 1) and the average score of 5 high school semesters of 3 subjects in the admission group (criterion 2).

Admission benchmark for subject 2 for each industry is as follows:

For subject 3, the admission score is based on 2 criteria including: the average score of 3 years of high school (criterion 1) and the average score of 5 semesters of high school of 3 subjects in the admission group (criterion 2).

Benchmark scores for each specific industry are as follows:

Master Le Van Hien, Deputy Head of Training Department of Ho Chi Minh City University of Law, said that this is only the result of qualifying for admission. This result will become official when the candidate has graduated from high school; has a valid verification result of the international certificate (or the certificate provided by the exam organization to the school at the candidate's request) and/or the result of comparing the original high school transcript with the documents that the candidate has provided to the school is consistent and valid; and complies with the regulations on registering wishes on the portal of the Ministry of Education and Training.

Accordingly, the deadline and method for candidates to register their wishes on the Ministry of Education and Training's General Admission Support System or on the National Public Service Portal is from July 10 to 5:00 p.m. on July 30. Candidates whose names are on the list of candidates considered eligible for admission, if they still wish to study at Ho Chi Minh City University of Law, must continue to register their wishes that have been notified by the school that they are eligible for admission on this system. Candidates who are notified by the school that they are eligible for admission according to the subject and method must choose the correct subject and method to register. The school recommends that candidates put this wish in the first order to ensure admission to the school.

In addition, Ho Chi Minh City University of Law conducted an online survey on the admission confirmation status of candidates from July 18 to July 25.

Currently, the school has not yet conducted faculty selection to manage students for candidates admitted to the law program. After candidates confirm and complete official admission procedures, based on the training capacity of each faculty, wishes and the number of officially enrolled candidates, the school will announce the results of the faculty selection before candidates officially enroll.

Previously, the University of Economics and Law (Ho Chi Minh City National University) announced the benchmark scores for the first two early admission methods. Many universities will continue to announce benchmark scores in the next few days.
