To ensure that boarding activities are not interrupted while completing procedures for selecting a new contractor, from October 21, the school will temporarily maintain boarding meals for students provided by TCT Food Company. This unit has been assessed and confirmed by the People's Committee of Binh Minh Commune to meet food hygiene and safety conditions.

From October 21 to 24, the school will sign a temporary contract with a team of trained professional kitchen staff to directly cook in the school kitchen. This entire process is closely monitored by the People's Committee of Binh Minh Commune, the health station and the parent-teacher representative committee of each class.

After completing the evaluation and contractor selection process, the official winning bidder will be responsible for providing meals for boarding students.

Cu Khe Primary School affirms that it will strictly comply with food safety and hygiene regulations to prevent similar incidents from recurring.

On the morning of October 20, many parents at Cu Khe Primary School let their children stay home from school because they could not pick them up at noon or bring lunch to class.

Previously, on October 15, the school's canteen was discovered to be using ingredients that showed signs of spoilage, such as spoiled meat, pre-peeled eggs with a strange smell, an unsanitary processing area, and failure to perform a three-step food inspection.

The People's Committee of Binh Minh Commune has requested to terminate the contract between Nhat Anh Company and Canh Nau Cooperative (the school's main food supplier), and at the same time strengthen supervision of meal supply, strictly handle violations and promptly report any abnormalities.
