Dien Quang Kindergarten (Ba Thuoc - Thanh Hoa): Solidarity to build a national standard school

In the early years of its establishment, the school faced many difficulties and challenges in all aspects, with a lack of facilities and students having to study at school locations in the villages. Up to now, the school's facilities and equipment have been invested in, ensuring conditions for teaching, learning and comprehensive educational activities. The quality of teaching has been constantly improved, becoming a reliable address and a place where the local people place their trust.

From a difficult and lacking situation in all aspects, the school has always received close guidance from the Department of Education and Training of Ba Thuoc district, the attention of the Party Committee and People's Committee of Dien Quang commune, and thanks to the good work of mobilizing socialization, gaining the trust and support of parents. Up to now, Dien Quang Kindergarten has been built spaciously, with a spacious and airy campus, ensuring conditions for teaching, learning and comprehensive educational activities. The school has a neat and clean classroom scale and garden system, built solidly, spacious, cool in the summer and warm in the winter and has full functional rooms to serve teaching and learning.

Overcoming all difficulties and challenges, the collective of teachers and staff of Dien Quang Kindergarten determined the key task of both improving the quality of care, nurturing and education for preschool students and focusing on rebuilding the infrastructure system. Thanks to solidarity and consensus, the teaching staff here constantly study, cultivate and improve their professional skills, contributing to the continuous improvement of teaching and learning quality.

In the 2022-2023 school year, the school has a total of 38 teachers and staff. The team of teachers and staff have good moral qualities, a healthy lifestyle, a sense of responsibility, love and respect for students. To date, 100% of the school's teachers have professional qualifications that meet or exceed standards.

With love for the profession and children, the team of teachers and staff strives day and night to improve themselves, always trying to achieve high results in teaching. The school also participates in activities to improve the quality of child care and education such as the district-level toy and tool making competition. In the 2022-2023 school year, the school has 14 initiatives classified by the school-level initiative council. There are 5 initiatives classified by the district-level initiative council, of which 4 initiatives are selected to participate at the provincial level.

In the 2022-2023 school year, the school has 17 groups and classes with 250 students. To make parents feel secure when sending their children to school, the school's Board of Directors always invests and focuses on improving the children's diet, helping them grasp the necessary skills while ensuring nutrition, height and weight development. Every year, the school often coordinates with the commune health station to organize periodic check-ups for children. At the same time, it strengthens the mobilization of children of the right age to go to class, actively contributing to the completion of universal preschool education for 5-year-olds.

Along with the work of caring for and educating children, investing in equipment, the school's Board of Directors always implements the democratic regulations in schools well, regularly accesses information technology, from which 100% of teachers know how to use computers proficiently, know how to apply them to nurturing, caring for, and educating children, and constantly innovate teaching and learning methods.

In particular, with the enthusiastic support of parents, close coordination between family and school, the quality of children is increasingly improved. The school's board of directors is always exemplary in their work, dares to think, dares to do and takes responsibility, sets an example of ethics for teachers and students, regularly propagates and mobilizes teachers and parents to comply with the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws.

Promoting the achievements, Dien Quang Kindergarten is striving to compete in education and childcare. The school has continuously received certificates of merit from the District People's Committee for educational activities. In particular, in May 2023, Dien Quang Kindergarten was honored to be recognized as a National Standard Kindergarten at level 1.
