According to the targets assigned by Military Region 3, in 2023, the school will receive, manage and train more than 700 new soldiers who are children from the following localities: Quang Ninh, Hai Phong, Hai Duong, Thai Binh , Nam Dinh, Ha Nam and Hoa Binh. During the training process, the Party Committee and the School Board always pay attention to leading and directing agencies and units to do a good job of preparation, strictly maintain discipline, ensure good training facilities, and places for soldiers to eat and rest.

After 3 months of training, the new soldiers have gradually matured, grasped basic knowledge of techniques and tactics, have self-awareness, discipline, solidarity, and help each other in performing tasks. They have well performed the 10 oaths of honor, 12 disciplinary rules, regulations on stationing and guarding, strictly followed the laws of the State, military discipline, daily and weekly regimes, manners, greetings according to regulations, etc. They have actively participated in emulation movements, culture, arts, physical education, and sports to create a vibrant competitive atmosphere and a joyful and healthy cultural environment in the unit.

100% of new soldiers were fully trained in all contents and programs, equipped with basic general knowledge of military, politics, logistics, and technology. The results of military subject tests showed that 95.93% had completed their tasks, with a good and excellent rate of 73.12%; the results of political education work showed that 100% had completed their tasks, with a good and excellent rate of 77.48%; the results of logistics training work tests showed that 100% had completed their tasks, with a good and excellent rate of 76.50%; the results of technical training work tests showed that 100% had completed their tasks, with a good and excellent rate of 76.92%. Immediately after the oath-taking ceremony, the new soldiers were assigned to units in the military region to receive their tasks.

Speaking at the oath-taking ceremony for new soldiers, Major General Ha Tat Dat acknowledged and commended the achievements of the school; at the same time, he requested that the new soldiers, after being assigned to work units, continue to strive to study, practice, cultivate moral qualities, working methods and styles, be ready to receive and complete all assigned tasks, contributing to building a strong, comprehensive, "exemplary and typical" unit.
