Leading Group F, the first qualifying round of the 2024 AFC U-20 Women's Championship, Vietnam U-20 Women's Team has excellently won the right to enter the second qualifying round. According to the draw results, Bao Tram and her teammates will compete in Group A with opponents Australia, Iran and Lebanon.

In May, the U.20 women's team of Vietnam had a training trip in Japan. That is a good opportunity for the players to practice their defensive ability.

The opponents in this group are all strong. Up to now, the Australian women's U.20 team is the strongest, but the Iranian women's U.20 team and the Lebanese women's U.20 team have also been very strong in recent years. This will be a difficult qualifying round."

According to the plan, after finishing the training period at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center, the U.20 Vietnam women's team will be present in Phu Tho to practice and get familiar with the competition field from May 28. Coach Akira Ijiri and his team will have an incense offering activity at Hung Temple (Phu Tho) on the morning of May 29.

Regarding the schedule of the visiting teams, the Australian U.20 women's team will be the first visiting team to arrive in Vietnam on May 27 for a short training session at the PVF Center, before moving to Viet Tri (Phu Tho) on June 1 to participate in the tournament. Members of the referee team, match supervisors, and the two visiting teams, Iran U.20 women's team and Lebanon U.20 women's team, will arrive in Vietnam from May 31.
