Provincial People's Committee deploys key tasks in November

In October, the socio-economic situation in the province continued to be stable and showed positive signs, creating momentum for accelerated development in the last months of the year. In particular, agricultural production remained stable, shrimp seed production grew quite well, and plans to combat drought and African swine fever were effectively implemented. The industrial production index increased by 11%, the mining industry increased by 3.3 times over the same period; trade and service activities continued to grow well, total retail sales of goods and service revenue in the month were estimated at VND 3,654.8 billion, up 14.85% over the same period last year. Total budget revenue in October was estimated at VND 227.4 billion, accumulated for 10 months was estimated at VND 3,844 billion, reaching 96% of the yearly plan. Work to support businesses in removing difficulties and obstacles was given attention; business activities showed signs of improvement; Disbursement of public investment capital is focused on and directed strongly; investment promotion is promoted. Concluding the meeting, Mr. Le Huyen, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, requested departments, branches, and localities to continue implementing key tasks and solutions in the last two months of 2024 to accelerate the achievement of growth targets; in which, focusing on further promoting 3 breakthroughs and 6 key sectors and fields, prioritizing growth promotion. Regarding some specific tasks, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested departments, branches, and localities to focus on directing crop production; closely monitor natural disasters and weather developments, provide timely information to proactively respond; strengthen control and prevention of diseases on crops and livestock, especially African swine fever. Strengthen monitoring of investment progress, complete new projects to exploit new capacity, new value for the processing and manufacturing industry. Continue to accelerate the completion of construction planning projects; new urban areas, residential areas, and social housing. Quickly complete the Thanh Son Airport Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, and submit it to the Ministry of Transport . Continue to promote the linkage of neighboring provinces and cities to connect and build inter-regional, unique, and different tourism product chains to attract tourists...

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested departments, branches and localities to proactively monitor and strengthen preventive medicine and prevention and control of infectious diseases; pay attention to fully implementing social security policies for people with meritorious services; focus on vocational training associated with job creation and labor export; continue to implement the program of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses for the poor. Prepare well the conditions for organizing the 6th Cham Cultural Festival. Effectively implement the province's digital transformation project and Project 06 of the Prime Minister; complete specific goals and tasks on digital transformation in all fields; promote administrative reform, strengthen administrative discipline and order. Well implement military and defense tasks in the new situation; do a good job of ensuring social order and safety.
