The exhibition "Ta Xua Cloud Paradise" was held simultaneously with the event "Ta Xua Day in Hanoi", creating a dual space for the public to both enjoy paintings and share stories about Ta Xua (Son La) - a highland region famous for its sea of clouds and great tourism potential.
Through that, the majestic nature, rich ethnic culture, gentle people of the villages... are expected to bring the feeling of a real trip right in the heart of the capital.

The exhibition displays 50 paintings created during field trips by the artist group "May Clouds" to Ta Xua. Each painting brings a magical moment of nature, especially when clouds drift over mountain ranges, fragile sunlight intermingles with villages or the clear high sky.
Besides the scenery, it is also a story of emotions, from amazement at nature to the desire to protect and connect. Notably, more than 20% of the profits from the sale of the works will be contributed to supporting projects in the highlands.

The works are all paintings filled with emotions. There, nature, people and the artist’s soul harmonize in every breath. The artists have depicted a Ta Xua imbued with poetry and humanity. In that space, clouds are a symbol of freedom, the aspiration to reach pure and sustainable values.

Amidst the hazy colors of the morning mist, the soft lines of the hills, and the silhouettes of working people, we can feel the connection between humans and nature in a primitive yet profound connection. Each work expresses the artist's belief in true beauty, the ability of art to save from the noise and chaos of modern life.

Along with the painting, the opening program of the event will feature a performance by young H'Mong artist - Ly Mi Cuong - with panpipes, flutes and jew's harp. The rustic sounds are like the mountain wind echoing back, the space seems to quiet down to listen to the sound of the forest trees, the sound of drifting clouds and the breath of nature. This is an emotional experience that helps attendees feel more deeply the cultural value and landscape of Ta Xua.

In addition, the space also has a "Hold Hand" booth where attendees can bring their own items, souvenirs, and works to the group for sale, and all profits will go to the fund to support people in the highlands.
The exhibition event is one of the ways in which art is mobilized for humanitarian purposes to help cold feet become warmer; roofs become newer; children's meals become more complete, and together spread more practical values in life.

Each artist has their own style. Some are calm with the warm colors of the earth. Some are liberal with strong brush strokes like the mountain wind. Some are delicate and meticulous in capturing the misty air of the afternoon clouds... However, despite their differences in writing style and personality, they still share the same deep emotions and love for Ta Xua in particular and for the land and people of the mountainous region in general.
In each layer of color, light and silence of the paintings, one can see a glimpse of respect for nature and the people in the highlands. For a long time, the group of artists has been quietly cultivating love, sharing with the community in both personal and public ways, through field trips, charity markets, fundraising painting sales... so that art becomes a bridge between the hearts of artists and the lives of people still struggling on the mountain slopes and in the clouds.
The group collaboration model of artists like the one "May May" is implementing is a remarkable and humane trend in Vietnam's fine arts life in recent years.
If in the past, artists were used to a solitary creative journey and each work was often the result of a closed inner world , now they have found new meaning in going together, creating, sharing and spreading artistic values to the community.

The companionship helps them exchange techniques, learn styles, expand their creative range, and at the same time create a team spirit and professional support so that each member is inspired and supported by sincere colleagueship.
Through field trips, joint exhibitions or volunteer activities, the artists gradually formed a close-knit artistic community, both as professional colleagues and friends in life.

More importantly, this model has aroused social awareness and community responsibility in the creative community. Artist groups have devoted a portion of their profits and efforts to charity projects, helping children and people in disadvantaged areas.
Since then, art has no longer stood outside of life, becoming a stream of humanity, beautifying the soul and contributing to building a more humane and sustainable community. That is the typical beauty of today's artists, both creating beauty and together preserving and multiplying beauty in life.

The exhibition "Ta Xua Cloud Paradise" opens a journey that takes viewers from Hanoi's Old Quarter to the top of Ta Xua Mountain in their imagination. At the same time, it deeply depicts the harmony between nature and people, between art and life, aiming at the values of connection, sharing, and nostalgia.
