“It is not the peak season for European tourists, but there are days when the rooms are full. Thanks to the development of tourism and the fishing industry, the economic life of the people of Bai Huong is quite prosperous, there are no poor households” - said Mr. Nguyen Minh Duc, Vice Chairman of Tan Hiep Commune People's Committee.

Locals said that there were times when the number of visitors was half the village's population, so there was a shortage of rooms. However, visitors still refused to stay at Bai Lang or Bai Ong, but just spread out mats on the porch to listen to the waves at Bai Huong.

In the past, 100% of the people of Bai Huong worked in the sea. In recent years, the number of European tourists coming to the resort village has increased, many households have switched to homestay and food services.

“It’s wonderful! This place is so attractive, the air is fresh, the scenery is peaceful, the fishermen are the same, they are not in a hurry, they still work at sea in the traditional way, still in the same tiny boat that the couple goes out to sea to catch seafood… This is what we love to come back to this village again” - a French tourist shared.
