Mr. D. (Mr. M.'s nephew) said that his uncle was in difficult circumstances, did not have a permanent house, worked as a bricklayer every day and also caught crabs to make a living.

"My uncle bought 10 lottery tickets with the number 916303 and gave 8 to his siblings and relatives, keeping the remaining 2. Then he put them in his pocket and went to catch crabs and pick coconuts. In the afternoon, when he heard the news of the jackpot, he looked for them and found that the 2 lottery tickets were torn to pieces," Mr. D. recounted.

The owner of Phu Vinh lottery agency said that the two special prize winning lottery tickets were issued by Hau Giang Lottery One Member Co., Ltd. The special prize winning number is 916303, drawn on February 1 (the 4th day of Tet).

"There were 15 lottery tickets that won the special prize with the number 916303 - the winners were mostly relatives of the man mentioned above with 10 tickets, the remaining 5 tickets were also bought by other neighbors," the owner of Phu Vinh lottery agency shared more.

On February 2, Mr. M. took two lottery tickets to the agent for guidance because both tickets were torn, missing the top and bottom, with only the middle part remaining.

"The winning number on one ticket was only 9163, while the other ticket was 91630," the lottery agent said.

13 winning tickets have been paid out.

Speaking with Tuoi Tre Online, Mr. Le Van Thang - Director of Hau Giang Lottery One Member Co., Ltd. - said that he had paid out 13 special prize winning lottery tickets, except for 2 torn lottery tickets that were not eligible for payment.
