Vietlott lottery ticket worth nearly 345 billion VND sold in Ho Chi Minh City

(NLDO) - The Vietlott lottery ticket that won Jackpot 1 worth nearly 345 billion VND is the highest prize since Vietlott started lottery business.

On the morning of July 13, Vietnam Computerized Lottery Company (Vietlott) announced that the winning lottery ticket for Jackpot 1 worth nearly 345 billion VND in the drawing on July 12 belonged to a player in Ho Chi Minh City.

This is the Jackpot 1 winning lottery ticket with the highest value since 2016 - the time Vietlott launched the market with the computerized lottery. This ticket has the lucky numbers 02 - 34 - 39 - 41 - 45 - 52.

Previously, in April 2024, two customers in Ho Chi Minh City also won the Jackpot 1 prize of the Power 6/55 lottery, with a total value of more than 314 billion VND. However, because these two people bought tickets with the same winning numbers, the prize money was divided in half according to regulations.

Specifically, the two people who won Jackpot 1 were Mr. H. (grocery store owner) and Mr. HL (delivery worker), each received more than 141 billion VND.

Also in the drawing on July 12, Vietlott determined that there were 2 Power 6/55 tickets that won Jackpot 2, each worth nearly 4 billion VND. Of which, one ticket was sold in Ho Chi Minh City and one ticket was sold in Bac Ninh province.

Lottery business people said that Vietlott has now expanded its ticket sales network widely. In particular, the number of accounts registered to participate in the lottery through the Vietlott SMS distribution channel (application on the phone) has increased to more than 2.5 million accounts.

Therefore, when the Jackpot 1 prize value exceeded 300 billion VND but there were no winning tickets, the number of people buying tickets increased sharply. The large number of tickets issued resulted in 1 winning ticket for Jackpot 1 and 2 winning tickets for Jackpot 2.
