In Tam Anh commune, according to the commune People's Committee leader, there are currently 39 disabled children in the area, including 12 children with extremely severe disabilities, 22 children with severe disabilities and 5 children with mild disabilities. The solidarity group regularly reviews and understands each specific case to promptly take support measures. All children are entitled to full social protection regimes according to State regulations such as monthly social allowances, health insurance cards, etc.

For severely disabled children, caregivers are also entitled to monthly allowances, helping to reduce difficulties for their families. In addition to State policies, other basic rights of disabled children are also focused on, such as health care, rehabilitation, education, vocational training, legal aid and access to appropriate public services.

Every year, the Commune People's Committee, Youth Union, associations, unions, social organizations and businesses organize fun activities and give gifts to children on the occasion of Mid-Autumn Festival, Children's Day, Lunar New Year, etc. These activities not only bring joy but also encourage the spirit, helping children feel the care and sharing from the community. Many philanthropists also donate hearing aids, wheelchairs, etc. to make the children's living and studying more convenient and safe.

According to Ms. Le Thi Tam, President of the City Charity and Children's Rights Protection Association, the motto throughout is "no one is left behind". In the 2025-2026 school year, the association has mobilized businesses and philanthropists to join hands to support facilities and gifts for students in disadvantaged areas with a total value of more than 1.8 billion VND.

Notably, the association coordinated with Nhan Dinh Trading and Service LLC and a number of businesses to sponsor 1.65 billion VND to build 3 classrooms for Nong Van Den Primary School, a canteen and a motel for teachers of Tuoi Hong Kindergarten (Tra Doc commune). In addition, 97 gifts with a total cost of 158 million VND were also given to students with especially difficult circumstances, including many disabled children. These projects and gifts are a great source of encouragement, contributing to helping children go to school and study in a better environment.

Not only the government and social organizations, the health sector also actively accompanies in supporting children with disabilities. Doctor Nguyen Van Dung, Director of the City Rehabilitation Hospital, said that the Pediatric Rehabilitation Department has implemented many intensive and effective intervention programs. The multidisciplinary team of experts regularly consults and builds a personalized roadmap for each child, combining rehabilitation, traditional medicine, nutrition, clinical psychology and treatment of comorbidities.

Not only stopping at professional activities, the hospital also focuses on organizing meaningful programs such as visiting and giving gifts on the occasion of International Children's Day June 1, or swimming competitions for children being treated. This is an opportunity for children to both exercise and learn drowning prevention skills. In addition, many children in difficult circumstances have also been supported with wheelchairs, orthopedic walking shoes, etc. to help them be more confident on their journey to integrate into the community.

In the coming time, the City Rehabilitation Hospital will continue to expand its programs to accompany disabled children and their families. The goal is to build a comprehensive, humane, and effective care environment so that all disabled children have more opportunities to learn, play, and confidently integrate into society.
