Vietinbank sells gold with no limit on purchase quantity

Vietinbank said it has prepared resources and is working closely with the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) to complete a comprehensive set of solutions to serve customers who buy gold. The bank has a policy of 3 nos, including not for profit purposes. Customers will be able to buy gold at a stable price. The selling price to the market will be within the range allowed by the SBV. There is no limit on individual customers. All customers who meet the requirements on personal identification and the State's Anti-Money Laundering regulations can register to buy gold at Vietinbank. Vietinbank does not limit the amount of gold customers buy.

Vietinbank announced to sell gold without limit on purchase quantity

In the immediate future, Vietinbank will launch sales at the store system of the Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade Gold and Gemstones Company Limited in Hanoi (2 locations) and Ho Chi Minh City (1 location). Time is from Monday to Friday (morning from 9am to 11am, afternoon from 1:30pm to 4pm).

Based on the gold bar purchase price from the State Bank, Vietinbank will determine and publicly announce on the website: http://vietinbank.vn and the above-mentioned Vietinbank gold selling locations daily for customers to conveniently follow.

After Vietcombank , Vietinbank also noted that it only sells gold, not buys gold from customers. At the same time, it encourages customers to pay by bank transfer for quick and convenient transactions.

After conducting 9 gold auctions, of which 6 sold 48,500 taels of gold to the market, the State Bank stopped the auctions and switched to selling gold to 4 state-owned commercial banks (Vietcombank, Vietinbank, Agribank, BIDV) to resell to the people. This gold sale was aimed at increasing the difference in domestic and foreign gold prices.
