VinFast surpasses 100,000 cars sold in Vietnam after 9 months

VinFast has just recorded a historic milestone by becoming the first car brand in Vietnam to surpass the 100,000 car sales mark in just the first 3 quarters of 2025. This is also the 11th consecutive month that the company has held the position of best-selling car brand in the market.

According to a report from VinFast, in September 2025 alone, the company sold 13,914 electric vehicles of various models, bringing the total cumulative sales since the beginning of the year to 103,884 vehicles, an unprecedented record in the history of the Vietnamese automobile industry.

In the product portfolio, VinFast VF3 continues to be the best-selling model with 31,386 cars sold in the first 9 months of the year, with 2,682 cars sold in September alone. The VF5 model holds the second position with 30,956 cars, of which 3,847 cars were sold last month alone.

Notably, the VF5 Herio Green version, optimized for green mobility services, also reached 8,604 cumulative units, of which 2,173 units were sold in September alone. The VF6 model recorded 14,425 units sold since the beginning of the year, continuing its strong growth momentum with nearly 2,000 units delivered in September.

VinFast VF3 continues to be the best-selling car model with 31,386 cars sold in the first 9 months of the year, with 2,682 cars sold in September alone.

The C-class SUV segment saw the VF7 maintain its appeal with 5,877 vehicles in 9 months, while the MPV Limo Green for high-end transportation services surprised everyone when it reached 2,120 vehicles in September alone, ranking at the top of the segment.

With two factories in Hai Phong and Ha Tinh expanding capacity, VinFast said it is fully capable of setting a new record in the fourth quarter, the peak period of the market.

The sales milestone not only marks VinFast's success but also reflects the clear shift of Vietnamese consumers to green vehicles.
