Vinh Long is ready for the 1st Provincial Party Congress

Up to now, on the main roads in the center of Vinh Long province as well as in communes and wards in remote areas, the construction unit is urgently installing billboards, banners, flags to promote the congress. Every detail is carefully taken care of by the construction unit, from adjusting the colors to arranging the hanging positions, all demonstrating the sense of responsibility and joint efforts to prepare for the congress.

Diversified visual propaganda and agitation

According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vinh Long province, up to now, the main roads and the center of the province have been brightly decorated with flags and banners promoting the congress, arousing pride among the people.

The highlight is the two large billboards at the beginning of Vo Van Kiet-Nguyen Hue Street (Long Chau Ward) and the gate of the Provincial Convention Center. The provincial authorities have solemnly arranged 25 large billboards, 200 horizontal banners, 2,000 vertical banners on the inner-city roads, 1,000 banana flags and 100 hours of broadcasting on a system of 120 LED screens...

Ms. Nguyen Thanh Thuy, Long Ho commune, Vinh Long province, excitedly said: "As the Party Congress approaches, flags are flying all over the streets, making me feel excited.

The visual decoration has united our people, created trust and excitement among the people, and contributed to encouraging everyone to look towards the Congress with expectations for new decisions."

Throughout the communes and wards, propaganda was also widely promoted to residential areas and households about the meaning and importance of the congress.

On the local loudspeaker system, news bulletins and propaganda radio programs are broadcast regularly every day. Each program incorporates propaganda content about the results of socio -economic development, outstanding achievements of the Party Committees at all levels in the past term, and development orientations in the new term.

The longest ceramic and flower street in Vietnam is decorated more beautifully.

Works for the people

Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vinh Long province, Duong Hoang Sum, said: "To make the preparations for the Congress more meaningful, Vinh Long province has been inaugurating and starting construction of many meaningful projects for the people before the Congress."

At the provincial level, Vinh Long has 6 projects to welcome the congress and dozens of projects in the communes have also been put into use to serve the people. Of these, 2 projects were inaugurated, 3 projects were started and 1 project was launched.

Road 2 Bridge was just inaugurated to welcome the Party Congress.

The freshwater reservoir project along the Lang The river bank (phase 1) will be inaugurated on September 29 and will be one of the particularly important projects.

The project aims to ensure water security to proactively supply fresh water for production, daily life, industry and services in the context of climate change and rising sea levels in the coming time.

Cai Von Ward also put the water music project into use to serve the people on the occasion of the Congress.

Head of the Propaganda Department of Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Thi Minh Trang said: "Up to this point, preparations for the Congress have been basically completed, ensuring thoughtfulness, solemnity, economy and efficiency.

The Provincial Party Committee has launched emulation movements and promoted extensive propaganda work among cadres, party members and people, creating an atmosphere of excitement, trust and expectation towards the Congress.

Accordingly, the Congress will take place on October 2 and 3, 2025 at the Vinh Long Provincial Convention Center. Official delegates: 500 delegates, representing 152,000 party members in the entire Party Committee. Of which, there are 83 ex-officio delegates and 417 appointed delegates.

Theme and motto of the Congress: "Building a clean and strong Party organization and political system; promoting the strength of great solidarity, revolutionary tradition and cultural identity; ensuring national defense and security; promoting innovation and breakthroughs, bringing Vinh Long to rapid and sustainable development in the new era".
