Phu Thuan Commune launched "Savings Week, joining hands for the poor"

DNO - On the morning of August 26, the People's Committee of Phu Thuan commune coordinated with Dai Loc Social Policy Bank to launch "Savings deposit week, joining hands for the poor", responding to the movement "The whole country joins hands for the poor - No one is left behind".

“Savings Week, Joining Hands for the Poor” takes place from August 26 to September 26, striving to mobilize a minimum savings deposit amount in the commune of about 2 billion VND. Organizations and individuals who want to deposit savings can contact the Dai Loc Social Policy Bank (112 Hung Vuong, Dai Loc commune, Da Nang city) and commune transaction points on the 13th, 15th, 19th, and 21st of each month.

According to Chairwoman of Phu Thuan Commune People's Committee Nguyen Thi Hong, on the first morning of the launch day, more than 50 officials, civil servants, public employees and workers participated in saving more than 1 billion VND.

The objective of “Savings Week, Joining Hands for the Poor” is to mobilize the community to deposit idle money into the Social Policy Bank. Thereby, creating a source of capital for poor households and other policy beneficiaries to borrow capital for production, business, income improvement, and job creation.
