The 8th Vietnam Sales and Marketing Congress (VSMCamp) and the Sales and Marketing Directors Summit (CSMOSummit) will take place on November 22-23 at VinUni University, Hanoi , with the theme "FORWARD+ Sales and marketing strategy in the era of sustainable development".

This information was given at the press conference introducing the event on September 19 in Hanoi. This 2-in-1 specialized event aims to establish the role and orientation for business, marketing and communication activities in the overall strategy for sustainable development of businesses and the economy in general.

In the context of sustainable development becoming an inevitable trend, sales and marketing strategies of businesses must also adapt and innovate to meet the changing demands of the market and society.

The concept of ESG (environment, social and governance) has become an important foundation in shaping this strategy, when businesses not only focus on profits but also pay attention to factors that have a positive impact on the living environment, a fair and prosperous society.

ESG has become a standard for international business operations, a fundamental condition for building a position in global and local markets. It is also the driving force for the green shift trend in sales and marketing.

VSMCamp and CSMOSummit 2024 aim to develop sales and marketing strategies that closely integrate ESG factors, along with building green sales and marketing strategies, sustainable advertising and communication. This not only helps businesses adapt to global trends but also creates competitive advantages, builds strong brands and creates long-term value for both businesses and society.

The event is expected to gather 60 speakers, scholars, and leading experts in the fields of marketing, communications, business, technology, and system operations domestically and internationally, helping attendees gain a multi-dimensional perspective on how the world has been applying sales, marketing, and communications solutions in the process of supporting sustainable development strategies.

Sharing at the press conference, Mr. Le Quoc Vinh, Chairman of Le Bros, Vice Chairman of CSMO Vietnam, Head of the Organizing Committee of VSMCamp and CSMOSummit 2024 said: “When it comes to sustainability, we often think of environmental and social issues, but we believe that its scope is broader than that. Within the framework of the press conference, CSMO also announced the establishment of the Sales & Marketing Community for Sustainability (abbreviated as SM4S).

This is an initiative to bring together and support businesses that share the vision of a sustainable economy, while promoting business activities based on ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) standards.

Forming a professional community focused on sustainable development in the field of sales and marketing not only helps improve business performance but also contributes to creating positive changes in the community, environment and society.

Representatives of the first businesses to agree to the SM4S Community Charter have signed a commitment to participate, accompany and support each other on the journey towards sustainable development.

VSMCamp & CSMOSummit 2024 is an annual program organized by the Vietnam Sales and Marketing Directors Club (CSMO Vietnam), under the Vietnam Association of Directors (VACD), and Le Bros Company.

Founded in 2016, VSMCamp – National Sales & Marketing Congress and CSMOSummit – Sales & Marketing Directors Summit are the largest annual 2-in-1 specialized events of the year in Vietnam. Each year, the event attracts more than 1,500 attendees from businesses, agencies, academia, training, and strategic consulting sectors.
