Building a 2026 action plan at the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism

DNO - The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has just issued an official dispatch to provinces and centrally-run cities regarding registration of activities in 2026 at the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism.

According to the official dispatch, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism said it has developed a framework plan to organize activities in 2026 at the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism with activities to recreate and introduce traditional cultural values ​​of ethnic groups and cultural weeks, cultural days, fairs, festivals, displays and exhibitions.

Activities and events, depending on their nature, will be organized monthly; associated with the celebration of major national holidays or scattered at various times in 2026.

Outstanding events such as: "Spring colors in all regions of the country", "Vietnamese Ethnic Culture Day", "Great Unity of Ethnic Groups - Vietnamese Cultural Heritage" Week, "Highland Market"...

Therefore, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism recommends that localities register and develop local activity plans for 2026 at the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism.

At the same time, send delegations of local ethnic communities to participate in annual and monthly themed activities and events and activities associated with major holidays and important historical events of the country at the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism.

In addition, coordinate and support the selection of local artisans and ethnic minorities to participate in daily activities on a rotation basis from 3 to 6 months or longer depending on actual conditions; ensure 16-18 ethnic minority groups regularly operate at the Vietnam Ethnic Culture and Tourism Village in 2026.
