3 dental clinics in Ninh Thuan were fined

On December 7, the Ninh Thuan Department of Health Inspectorate announced that it had just issued the conclusion of a surprise inspection of dental and maxillofacial clinics (CKRHM) located in Phan Rang - Thap Cham City and Ninh Son District.

The Ninh Thuan Department of Health Inspectorate has decided to fine 3 dental clinics with a total fine of 200 million VND.

Accordingly, the Inspectorate of the Ninh Thuan Department of Health suddenly inspected 4 CKRHM clinics (3 facilities managed by the People's Committee of Phan Rang - Thap Cham City and 1 facility managed by the People's Committee of Ninh Son District) and discovered that these clinics did not comply with the provisions of the law when practicing medical examination and treatment.

Specifically, the practitioner performing medical examination and treatment (tooth extraction procedures for customers, fitting dentures) has not been granted a certificate to practice medical examination and treatment.

During the inspection process, some CKRHM clinics avoided the inspection team by closing down while the inspection team was on duty or opening the clinic but the owner was absent, with only staff present and deliberately not providing administrative procedures related to the clinic's operations.

The Inspectorate of the Ninh Thuan Department of Health has decided to fine 3 CKRHM clinics located in Phan Rang - Thap Cham City, with a total fine of 200 million VND, for examining and treating patients without a practicing certificate. Specifically, a fine of 70 million VND was imposed on ADOR Dental Services and Trading Joint Stock Company; a fine of 60 million VND was imposed on Viet Duc Phan Rang International Dental Company Limited; and a fine of 70 million VND was imposed on Cham Phan Rang International Cosmetic Dentistry Company Limited.

In addition, the Ninh Thuan Department of Health Inspectorate made a working record and transferred it to the Ninh Son District People's Committee to monitor, inspect and handle (if any) the CKRHM clinic located in Tan Son Town because at the time of inspection, there was no owner of the facility, and the person receiving the delegation did not accept to be the representative to sign the working record.
