Touching moment of hot air balloon flying high with national flag

This morning (September 1), despite the rain, a large number of people and tourists gathered at 30/10 Square (Ha Long City, Quang Ninh Province) to attend the opening ceremony of the Hot Air Balloon Festival. Fortunately, when the ceremony began, the rain had stopped, there was a light wind, very favorable for the festival activities to take place.

This is the first time Ha Long City (Quang Ninh province) has organized a hot air balloon festival with activities including: hot air balloon flying, hot air balloon sightseeing, hot air balloon lantern night, hot air balloons decorating the ground.

For 2 days, from 7am - 9am and after 4:30pm every day, there will be hot air balloon flights at 30/10 Square (Hon Gai) and Ocean Park Beach (Bai Chay). Ha Long City issues free hot air balloon tickets (or cards) to control the number of visitors.

Notably, Dan Viet reporters noted that in the opening part of the festival, a ceremony of raising the national flag by hot air balloon took place.

Mr. Ta Hong Son, 33 years old, living in Ha Long City said: "This is the first time in my life I have witnessed such a beautiful moment. How proud and sacred these National Day holidays are. My two daughters have also witnessed it and it will be a beautiful memory of their childhood."

Besides the hot air balloon festival, there is also a paramotor activity flying from Bai Chay over Cua Luc Bay to October 30 Square and vice versa.

It is known that from now until the end of the year, Ha Long City will organize many festivals such as: Full Moon Festival and artistic light performance next to the Heritage Bay; Ripe Guava Season Festival; Ha Long Bay Heritage Day, flower festival at Quang La flower paradise... Thereby, increasing attraction to tourists, concretizing the festival city project with diversified products.
